I prepared something for you

Bonjour my little demon,

Caught up in my latest artwork, I haven’t sent a missive in a while. I hope you’ll forgive me!

Creating a collection takes more time, energy, and heart than I expected... (I can’t believe I thought I’d finish in two months). But I’m hopeful I’ll have some new portraits to share with you in the next missive!

But today’s letter has a different focus:

In the past weeks, my return to social media and sharing my students’ drawings brought a wave of little demons asking for more portrait tips. And you know me: I listen.

Starting next week, I’ll send you a weekly portrait lesson alongside the regular missive. It’s my way of sharing what I’ve learned over five years of portrait practice. And since I’m still learning every day, it wouldn’t feel right to keep it all to myself.
